Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does your process work?

A: The first step is to confirm a date and time that works for you. If setting in advance we will call you 24-48 hours before to make sure the set time is still good on your end. We will call you 30 minutes-1 Hour before the set appointment with an expected ETA so you know exactly when we will arrive. No more waiting, guessing, or 4 hour time windows! Once we show up, we will ask a few quick questions about what has been going on and what we can help with. We will then suit up, enter underneath your home and begin our inspection. We will take plenty of pictures that way you can see what it looks like down there for yourself. All pictures will have time stamps and can be sent to you as well. After the inspection is completed, we will briefly sit down with you to discuss what we found and what we recommend to have done. We will go over materials, warranties, and of course price. You will receive a proposal that day!

Q: What is the difference between a Vapor Barrier & Moisture Barrier?

A: This is the most common question we receive. A vapor barrier sits on the ceiling underneath your home. It holds up your insulation and acts as a barrier against rodents, pests, mold, moisture, etc. Without this, your subfloors will be exposed directly to the humidity under your home resulting in soft spots and rot overtime. A moisture barrier sits on your dirt crawlspace floor. This helps control humidity and moisture coming up from the earth's soil and blocks it from working upwards in your home. Both work hand in hand and together, will provide the best long term protection for a healthy home.

Q: Do you guarantee or warranty your work?

A: Yes, we offer lifetime warranties on our vapor barriers and 10 year warranties on moisture barriers against rips, tears, and deterioration.  Both will come with a warranty certificate. Warranties non-transferrable.

Q: How long do the installs take?

A: Installs or repairs can take anywhere from a half day to 4-5 full days depending on the project, size of the home, and how much work space there is underneath the home.

Q: What forms of payment do you take?

A: We accept checks, credit cards, and cash.
